ANESTHESIOLOGY DEPARTMENT
This department has a central position in the organization of care provision at the Center. It works in partnership with the Surgery Departments but also with the Radiation Service for the anesthesia of children treated by High Energy Proton Therapy and with the Imaging Service for interventional radiology procedures.
The Anesthesiology Department consists of three units:

The department is specialised in:
- General anesthesia for patients with gynaecological cancer
- General anesthesia for patients with cancer of the face and neck, especially those requiring free or pedicled flap reconstruction
- Postoperative follow-up of DIEP flap surgery, laparotomy and resection surgery with reconstruction of the ENT sphere in the Continuous Surveillance Unit.
- General anesthesia and local-regional anesthesia in gynecological surgery and ENT
- General anesthesia in digestive endoscopies
- General anesthesia in interventional radiology
- General anesthesia in pediatric proton therapy
- Observations and treatment of patients in Continuous Monitoring Unit
- Management of acute postoperative pain
- Organization of vital intra-hospital emergencies
