TREATMENT OF HEMATOLOGICAL CANCERS
Lacassagne treats all haematological cancers:
- Acute and chronic leukemias
- Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s malignant lymphomas
- myeloma
- myeloproliferative syndromes
- myelodysplasia
Hematologic malignancies are treated at the Center from diagnosis through to all forms of specialized treatments
- Conventional chemotherapies
- Intensive chemotherapy with hematopoietic stem cell support (autograft)
- Immunotherapy
- Targeted treatments with monoclonal antibodies, tyrosine kinase inhibitors, anti-angiogenesis drugs, etc.
- Radiotherapy
- Radioimmunotherapy treatment
- transfusions
Depending on the situation, treatments are performed
- During specialized consultations
- In day hospital, week hospital or conventional hospital
- In the Hematology Continuous Care Unit for treatment of acute leukemias and autografts.
For patients requiring an allograft (bone marrow transplant with donor cells) a joint PCM is organized with the Hematology Department of the University Hospital of Nice.
